Cette photographie illustre une salutation populaire au Ghana. Vous vous réveillez tôt le matin, vous croisez un voisin qui vous dit « C'est déjà le matin », et vous répondez « Tout ce qui nous reste, c'est de souffrir, de gagner de quoi manger et de mourir un jour ». À mon avis, tout ce pour quoi nous souffrons, c'est la louche que nous tenons dans notre main et notre corps qui travaille sous le soleil jusqu'au jour où nous disparaîtrons.

This exhibition is the result of an exclusive collaboration between L’Ancrage and the Filafriques gallery.
The artist, Roasted Kweku, is a young Ghanaian photographer living in Suhum.
Original words from the artist:
This photograph explains a popular greeting by Ghanaain. You wake up early in the morning, meet a neighbour and they say, " it's morning again", and your response will be" all that's is left for us is to suffer, gain what you'd eat and one day die".In my perspective all we suffering for is our ladle in our hand and our body working its way under the sun until the day we are gone.
