RHIZOMES

“Rhizomes is a series of sculptures inspired by organic forms and the networks of living things. The ropes evoke roots—invisible bonds that connect beings. Drawing on the concept of the rhizome developed by Gilles Deleuze, these works explore multiplicity, connection, and transformation. Here, nature becomes a metaphor for human complexity. The weaving here is not a collection of threads but a network of relationships between the threads. Everything holds together with a certain fragility." Maliza Kiasuwa
